The Great Indian Faith

I'm not much a movie fan but i try that i never miss any good movie. The main motive of watching for me is to have 120-180 minutes of entertainment and extract some strong message from it. Recently, I saw a movie "Halla Bol". The movie was not a hatke type as far as my views are concerned but it wants/trying to convey a strong message that anything can be won by truth and faith.

The best parts of the movie were "Nukkad Natak", faith in God and not using minority issue as political reasons. The part of the movie that made me write this post is the Haji Ali. Being from a Jain family, I always follow my religion to the maximum i can and i respect all religion. More than the religion i respect the faith people have in God here in India. It has been almost 5 years here in Pune, Public walking past a temple, Mosque, church or Gurudwara (big/small) they'll take a second bow down and pay small small prayer to the God. Thats what I love here.

I feel so good and only one thing strikes my Mind we have His blessings on us(no matter in what form is He). No doubt man is little selfish sometimes and comes to God only when he is in need but he comes to Him for help.

Jai Hind!

Tech Dreams

Today, I went to one of my colleague's cubical. She was talking about some of her tech dream she had last night, what a co-incidence even I saw something related to time zones and suddenly thought of abhishek's post came to my mind. When I read his post i never believed how can anybody dream of code and IDE while you have so much of other stuff to think about like "Maria Sharapova" ;-). Well now when I heard she was thinking about the Portal Project. I understood this is what happens when you do same kind of work day-in-day-out and you do not have anything other than work. This reminded me of my 12th grade when i used to study chemistry (organic to be very specific), that time I always used to dream about the Benzene , Friedel Crafts reactions, Periodic table and many more stuff from the book by O.P. Agrawal quite often. A week back I was dreaming of Beaches in Goa and now timezones, iTimeZoneOffset, DateTime, etc, etc [:O]

Dreams you see are nothing but a real complex mixture of thoughts that come to your mind that day - In Short dreams are outcome of chemical locha.

Key to Happiness

I like to observe and study people. Since a long time i have been watching few people around me are very sad. Some are not happy at work, for some relationships not working, some are not happy in life.

What is the key to happiness?

I have the key to happiness and I’m ready to give it to who ever comes to me but there is one condition. I would like to narrate my condition through the small story which my Dadaji used to tell me and my cousins.

"A poor lady lost her young son. The son was just 12 years old. She went crying to Lord Buddha asking Him to bring back son to life. Gautam Buddha told her its not possible. She argued, cried before Him saying he is God and can do anything. Finally, Lord Buddha told that this can be done using only one method. He told her to get few wheat grains from a house where nobody ever died or the family members who have never seen any deaths. She went on door to door asking for if she can find such house. Whole day she visited all houses, shacks and places in the village and nearby places but couldn't find any house where the family members haven't seen any deaths. She came back to Lord Buddha and said she failed to get wheat.

Lord Buddha said ‘anyone that comes to life has to face death one or the other time - some face the death early some late’.

And the poor lady learnt the fact of life and death"

Life is full of ups and downs. Similar to above story we must treat downs in our life as a death of some good times and move on for the next life of happiness.

There is no key to happiness as such.

Enjoy!

Lotus in the Mud

This is not a nursery rhyme
You'll now or may understand with time,
will come in your mind with a thud
what i mean by the lotus in the mud.

The world has both sides of coin
this thought just came to mind of mine,
why roses lie on the bed of thorns
beautiful deers have hard horns.

The tender coconut enclosed in hard shell
horns n thorns protect beauty n sweet smell,
Its not all wrong
the way to the place they belong,
Its always for they care
who get them out, are those who dare.

To get the flower in the mud you dive
you'll get dirty but will survive,
Its about the effort i talk
to reach the destination you desire
might be worth the walk.

So make your mind and determine
Take the effort to pull out the flower
get wet in the happiness shower,
Hope you understand what i mean
by the lotus in the mud.

Oh its a new year!!!

Happy new year!!!

Welcome 2008. New year resolution time.

Well i tried to make many resolutions every year. I did work on some but couldn't work on all. I realized i must be determined to something.

So, new year resolution is to stay determined.

Life's little complex

Its quite difficult to look at life as its simple, but its simple to act as if life is simple. The simplicity to live life simple is simple funda make yourself a little complex by behaving very simple. Am I too complex here... no not at all. Lets stop the confusion here.

Bottom line is Enjoy!!!

Cheers
Life is like an ice-cream, enjoy before it melts. :-) [its cold outside still may be an ice-cream can help me]
