Books have a heavy impact on my life

This is kind of intermission post, away from the Nature's beauty, God's creation etc.

If you check my earlier posts you can clearly notice i have been talking about the nature, God, environment, weather etc. I recently read a book by Rajashree-"Trust Me" where life at bollywood movie sets is depicted. The book was under fiction section but some how I feel its a real life story with some exaggeration. The book is on a village girl who comes to a Metro and falls for a guy and the guy dumps her after making love with her. This makes her very rude, she starts smoking etc. The earlier blogs i wrote were under the influence of Paulo Coelho's "Like the flowing rivers" ^ :) ^. But when I actually read the book by Rajashree made me look life not very positively, I was actually thinking of smoking a cigarette, might be because book had some impact on me. But when i came into my senses, I realized these things are just for authors to make money, but if there is some thing to look in these books are, something you learn, like not having an affair just to enjoy, dumping a girl/guy can seriously destroy one's life. So, from now onwards I should ideally read books which leads me to a spiritual path, but will be reading all such books to know the reality of life and also some management related books to become a good Entrepreneur. But still Spiritual books are the best.

I have personally experienced the joy and happiness after practicing meditation, going to temple. It helps you remain calm and stable in your day today life.

Where Heavens touch the earth

I think i'm falling in love with her beauty, but who hasn't, everyone except the few who don't care about her. When she gets wet, the heaven comes down to kiss her. I saw this very pleasant and beautiful scene yesterday.

Yesterday me and my friend Ravi Bhatt went to Lonavala on bike, 63 km away from Pune city. It was Sunday morning clouded all the way from Pune to Lonavala. When we were about 20km away from the hill station. The area around the National Highway no. 4 was totally covered with the carpet of green vegetation and through the midst of the mountain the small waterfalls were coming down. However I couldn't see the top of the mountains as heavens were intervening the view. All clouds covered the mountain top. On other side about 100-200m away from us the clouds from the mountains bent down to touch the fields down on the plain land. On the first site i thought of the Fog but those were clouds touching fields. The first thought that came to my mind was Heavens kissing the beautiful Mother Earth.

It was raining and we were going on 80kmph, the rain was pricking the cool air was making us hold our jackets, but her beauty eclipsed the small problem. We reached lonavala took some chikki (a sweet made by jaggery and groundnut strolled for sometime and came back enjoying the same weather, scenery.

God still loves His creation and we should take care of mother nature - mother earth and we should see His Wrath n form of Tsunami, earthquake, Floods and Droughts.

Thanks and Have a nice day.

Journey to the unknown Destination.

Imagine a journey with a beautiful book in your hand and beautiful weather all around with a beautiful girl sitting alone and you are going to some place which you have never seen. Something similar as mentioned above has happened with me last weekend. I had to collect a courier from a place in Bombay suburbs. Early Saturday morning it was drizzling and i had my reservation in 6.05 am train to Mumbai. The Pune to Mumbai rail route passes through the well-known hill stations Lonavala and Khandala.

The train starts and I start reading the book "Like the flowing Rivers" by Paulo Coelho. The book consists of small stories, articles and incidents which writer came across in his life. The moral/the gist and Paulo Coelho's thoughts are so much similar to that of mine that was making smile all the way I was reading the book. The train stopped on the Lonavala station. I heard an announcement saying "there are heavy rains in Mumbai-Pune route and for the safety the train will halt here for at-least an hour”, I was reading the book and smiling on every page I read. The beautiful girl sitting in the next section opposite to me is watching me reading the book and smiling. After an hour train started moving and I looked at her she was smiling at me so I did the same to her. I smiled and back to my book. As the train was passing through the Sahyadri Mountains and it was green all over and small streams of white water were flowing through the mountains because of rain. The waterfalls were as good as milk flowing from heaven through the Green Mountains and clouds on other side of train.
I did my work, stayed at Uncle's place for a day as trains were cancelled that day. While returning the same weather, same beautiful place, the train was empty and there was a drunkard standing next to me near the door. This person was singing all old Bollywood songs loudly - in short was singing his heart aloud. I felt sometimes getting drunk is kind of fantasy.

I still feel that life is too short to see the world and analyze it. During this trip I learnt a lot about how God cares and how Mother Nature nurtures us with her beauty. I learnt that we all walking a journey towards the unknown destination similar to above with all beauty around and some obstacles.
